Nordic Singers Association
The Nordic Singers Association (officially Nordisk Sangerforbund, NSF ) is the umbrella organization of male choirs from the Baltic and Nordic countries of Europe. It was founded in Bergen on May 21, 1956 . In 2005, the regional associations from the Baltic States joined the umbrella organization.
Following the tradition of the Nordic-Baltic Choral Festival , the association has organized two separate editions of the Nordic-Baltic Male Choir Festival since 2005 : in May 2006 in the Saku Suurhall in Tallinn with 2300 participants, and from 15 to 17 June 2012 in Tartu in the open air with almost 5000 participants. The next edition will take place from 12. – 14. May 2016 in the Harpa in Reykjavík .
The association president is Eyþór Eðvarðsson .
