North Transylvania is a high German language variety from the north of the Transylvania region in Romania . It belongs to the Transylvanian-Saxon language , which has a lot in common with the Luxembourgish language , and includes the Bistritz dialect along with other dialects .
Northern Transylvanian has more Upper Saxon influences than Southern Transylvanian . The dialect is recorded in the North Transylvanian-Saxon dictionary , which also documents the North Transylvanian culture.
The origin of Northern Transylvania is to be found south of the weng / wein line .
