The Norges klatreforbund ( NKF , German  Norwegian Climbing Association ) was founded in 1992. Its aim is to promote climbing in Norway and to represent Norwegian climbing internationally.

The Norges klatreforbund is a special association in the Norwegian Sports Federation and in the Olympic and Paralympic Committees. He is since 1993 member of the International Climbing Federation ( UIAA ), the International Association of Sport Climbing ( IFSC ), the Norwegian Mountain Sports Forum and the joint Organization for outdoor living (FRIFO) and since 2017 a member of the EUMA .
