Noriko Sengoku

Noriko Sengoku ( Japanese 千石 規 子 , Sengoku Noriko ) was the pseudonym of the Japanese film and television actress Reiko Mori ( 森 礼 子 , Mori Reiko ; born May 29, 1922 in Tokyo Prefecture ; † December 27, 2012 ).

She made her debut in 1947 and mainly starred in films from the 1950s and 1960s. She became known for her involvement in early Akira Kurosawa films such as Angel of the Lost (1948), A Stray Dog (1949), The Silent Duel (1949), Scandal (1950), The Idiot (1951) and The Seven Samurai (1954 ).
