The North Cliff ( English for north cliff ) is a towering cliff on the Pennell coast of East Antarctica Victoria Land . It towers east of North Beach near Cape Adare on the Adare Peninsula .
The northern group around the British polar explorer Victor Campbell named it in the course of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott .
