Northcott Ridge is a ridge-like and 1970 m high Nunatak in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It belongs to the Goodspeed Nunataks in the southern part of the Prince Charles Mountains and rises about 9 km east-southeast of the Skinner Nunatak .
Scientists carrying out seismic surveys in the area as part of a campaign by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions discovered it in 1957. Aerial photographs were taken in 1958 and 1960. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1973 after the helicopter engineer Ian R. Northcott, who worked on the Had participated in surveying the Prince Charles Mountains in 1971 and 1972.
