The Norumnuten ( Norwegian ) is a 3 km long and up to 2224 m high mountain ridge in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises north-west of Paalnibba in Skjønsbergskarvet of Sivorgfjella .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1987. It is named after Kåre Arvid Norum (1907–1981), a resistance fighter against the German occupation of Norway in World War II .
