The Norway Glacier (English for Norway glacier is) a 16 km long glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It flows from the central polar plateau west of Mount Prestrud in a north-westerly direction to the Amundsen Glacier , which it reaches between Mount Bjaaland and Mount Hassel .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1967 based on the naming of numerous objects in this area, which are named after the participants in the successful South Pole expedition (1910-1912) of the Norwegian polar explorer Roald Amundsen .
