The main exhibition inside the museum shows over 1000 years of street history in Gudbrandsdalen with vehicles from different times, road construction and winter service vehicles, a film showing "On the way in the 1960s" and an interactive traffic safety center to test your own skills.

In a subsidiary section that was opened in 2004, the history of mountain blasting from the 18th century to the present day is illustrated by means of film screenings and authentic models inside a 240 m long tunnel . You can also see a 120-ton dump truck and work clothing from different times in an accommodation for road construction workers.

Outside there are other buildings with street history exhibitions as well as a historical forge to be visited. There is also a restaurant, a museum shop and an auditorium .
