Nostra Senyora del Roser (Pollença)
Nostra Senyora del Roser is a secular church in Pollença on the Spanish Mediterranean island of Mallorca . It forms a unit with the immediately adjacent Convent de Santo Domingo monastery . The municipal museum Museu de Pollença has been set up in parts of the complex .

The building is located in the southern part of the center of Pollença. To the north is the Jardins Joan March Servera city park .
Architecture and history
The complex was built in its current form in the 16th and 17th centuries. Century. Church and monastery are connected by a cloister . A music festival takes place in the cloister each summer. In the church, which is now used for art exhibitions, the baroque main altar and the organ have been preserved. Inside the church is the grave of Joan Mas , who is venerated as a hero in the defense of the city against the pirate Dragut .
The museum presents prehistoric finds such as ceramics from around 1600 BC. BC, which were found in a cave near Can Martorellet in the Serra de Tramuntana . Remains of wooden bull figures from around 320 BC Were recovered in a karst cave near Port de Pollença . It also shows pottery from the 15th century. In the museum there are mostly 14th century sculptures and pictures from the parish church of Santa Maria dels Àngels .
Modern art from Pollença is also on display, such as the works that have been awarded the Premi Pollença art prize , such as a picture by Dionís Bennàssar from 1963 .
