The Notora ( Russian Нотора ) is a left tributary of the Aldan in the Sakha Republic in eastern Siberia .
The Notora rises northeast of the Amga settlement, not far from the course of the Amga River. It flows with numerous narrow meanders in an easterly direction to the Aldan. It joins a left branch of the Aldan and flows into the main river of the Aldan after a total of 308 km. The 7440 km² catchment area of the Notora is located between the Amga and Aldan rivers. The Notora is covered with ice between December and May. The subsequent snow melt leads to a sharp increase in the amount of water in the Notora. The mean discharge 37 km above the mouth is 7 m³ / s.
