Notre-Dame-de-la-Clarté is a Roman Catholic chapel in Perros-Guirec in the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany . The chapel has been classified as a monument historique since 1915 .

history

According to an inscription from 1445 inside the chapel, the building of the church was initiated by Rolland de Coëtmen, Lord of Tonquédec and Keruzec. The late-Gothic building was from the second half of the 15th century to the 16th century in the style of Flamboyantgotik using the rose granite of pink granite executed.

The corner tower, the west gable, the short nave , the north aisle and the choir were built in the second half of the 15th century. The southern vestibule, added around 1500, bears the year 1573, which may mark the completion of the construction work or a renovation. The St-Samson Chapel attached to the south was built around 1600 by the Lannion family. The upper floors of the church tower were built around 1645. The sacristy was added in 1828. The surrounding wall of the churchyard includes a cross in the south that was erected in 1630 by the priest Guillaume Salaün and dates from the first half of the 17th century.
