history
The company was founded in 1898 by Albert Notz and initially specialized in steel processing for the watch industry . In addition to the watchmakers, the mechanical industry, the machine, tool and electrical industry, car and bicycle factories, the railroad, shipping companies and other emerging industries were later added as customers. In 1993 Notz took over MAG Metall AG, which traded in non-ferrous metals and free- cutting steel .
