The Noxon-Kliff is a cliff with an east-west orientation in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Asgard Range , it looms at the southern end of Flint Ridge . On the northern flank of the Commonwealth Glacier, between 50 and 150 m of the total height protrude above the level of the surrounding ice masses.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1997 after John Franklin Noxon III. (1928–1985), a pioneer in the research of stratospheric gases, especially nitrogen dioxide , using spectroscopy in the visible wavelength range .
