Nuapuli is a small uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .

geography

Nuapuli is a motu in the Ava Pulepulekai Channel , deep in the heart of Vavaʻu. The island is north of ʻUtungake and at the entrance to Mount Talau National Park in the bay near Vaimalo . At the northern end of the bay is the island of Kolotahi .

climate

The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vava'u group, Nuapuli is occasionally hit by cyclones .
