Nukufaiau is an island in the Ha'apai archipelago that belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .
geography
The motu is in the center of ʻOtu Muʻomuʻa together with Nukutula . In the east, the islands of Tanoa and Meama , as well as the reefs Mai Reef and Lua Anga join, in the south Mango is the closest island.
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Ha'apai group, Nukufaiau is occasionally hit by cyclones .
