Numa Ensch-Tesch

Charles Numa Ensch-Tesch (born June 10, 1841 in Ruette ; died October 30, 1929 in Arlon ) was a Belgian lawyer and politician.

Numa Ensch obtained a doctorate in law in Brussels in 1866 and became a lawyer in Arlon. In 1869 he was Juge suppléant in Arlon, 1890, 1891, 1895 and 1896 Bâtonnier of ARLON Bar Association.

Between 1901 and 1921 he was mayor of Arlon as the successor to Joseph Netzer . He was married to Flore Marie Emma Adolphine Léonie Tesch and added hers to his family name to form a double name. Flore Tesch was Emmanuel Tesch's daughter and Victor Tesch's niece .

He was a member of the board of directors of ARBED, which was founded in 1911 .
