A numismatic journal is a specialist journal in the field of numismatics (coinage).

Johann David Köhler published the Historical Coin Amusements, the first purely numismatic magazine , in 1729 . Numerous more were founded in the 19th and 20th centuries with the emergence of coin collecting associations.
