Deutsches Münzen Magazin (international trade journal for old and new numismatics) is the title of a - and Europe's largest - magazine on coin science that has been published by EMS Verlag ( Stuttgart ) since 1987 . Editor-in-chief , publisher and co-founder is Wolfgang Erzinger . Six issues of the magazine appear annually; at the beginning of January, March, May, July, September and November. Since issue 3/2004 the price has been € 4.50 per issue; a subscription costs € 22.8 per year. So far the DMM has only been sold through station bookshops .

In 1994 and 1995 the magazine was accompanied by the phone card magazine and since 1996 the MDM journal has been in the middle of the magazine ; a customer information sheet from MDM Münzhandelsgesellschaft mbH Deutsche Münze , attached. The reporting is mainly about ( German ) euro coins (before the introduction of the euro, the focus was on German commemorative coins and the leading currencies of the euro countries), current sporting events such as the Olympic Games , soccer world championships and soccer championships , the coin programs of Canada , the United States , the United Kingdom , China, and Russia . In addition, investment coins , historical coins (minted in gold and silver ), the smallest gold coins and portraits of countries and mints are reported.
