The Nungesser Lake is a lake in Kenora District in the western Canadian province of Ontario .
The approximately 120 km² large and 28 km long lake is 50 km north of Red Lake . The Nungesser River leaves the lake at the southwestern end and flows to Little Vermilion Lake, through which the Chukuni River flows .
Nungesser Lake is a destination for amateur fishermen. The main fishing fish in the lake are eyeglasses and pike .
