The Chukuni River is a right tributary of the English River in the Kenora District in the southwest of the Canadian province of Ontario .

It rises north of Odin Lake at an altitude of 420  m . It flows through and drains a lake system. It flows through the following lakes in a predominantly southeastern direction: Odin Lake, Rathouse Lake , Little Vermilion Lake , Red Lake , Gullrock Lake and Pakwash Lake . The left tributaries of the Nungesser River and Troutlake River drain the Nungesser Lake and Trout Lake north of the river . The Chukuni River has a length of about 160 km. At the level above Pakwash Lake, the mean discharge is 29 m³ / s.
