The Troutlake River is a left tributary of the Chukuni River in the Kenora District in the southwest of the Canadian province of Ontario .

The Troutlake River forms the drain of Trout Lake . It leaves the lake on the south bank and flows through the neighboring lakes Otter Lake and Little Trout Lake . It flows in a predominantly south-easterly direction and takes the Joyce River and Woman River tributaries from the left. The river then turns south and flows into Pukwash Lake . The Troutlake River has a length of 85 km. The mean discharge at the gauge above Big Falls is 16 m³ / s.
