Just a bank robbery (original title: Enkelstöten ) is a Swedish crime comedy produced in 2017 based on the novel Enkelstöten by the Swedish author Tomas Arvidsson .

The series is about the two friends Jenny and Cecilia, who live in the Swedish city of Kalmar , who are both about to retire and get into financial difficulties. Although both of them have lived completely inconspicuously as teachers and doctors, they decide to rob a bank to solve their problems.

The 6-part mini-series is based on the novel Enkelstöten by Swedish author Tomas Arvidsson, published in 1976 , in contrast to the model with female instead of male bank robbers. Felix Herngren (episode 1 to 3) and Emma Bucht (episode 4 to 6) shared the direction.
The German first broadcast took place on April 18 and 25, 2019 in 3 episodes at a time on arte , and from April 11, 2019 the first 3 episodes were available in the arte media library.
