Just a dream ... (Original title: The Edge of Dreaming ) is a British documentary by Amy Hardie from 2009. The film critically deals with the subject of "interpretation of dreams and their relation to reality".

action

Amy Hardie describes dreams that predict her death within a year of her 48th birthday. She suffers these nightmares as a result of a trauma which she had as a result of the death of her ex-husband. She therefore believes that she can foresee future events and developments by dream. Her husband died at the age of 50.

A short time before that, she found her horse dead after dreaming it had died, so she takes the dreams very seriously. When she was diagnosed with severe lung disease shortly before her 49th birthday, Hardie went to see a shaman in addition to all possible scientists . The shamanic journey is portrayed in the film.

Amy Hardie can finally celebrate her 49th birthday. It cannot be proven whether the shamanic treatment also had an effect on the physical disease process. However, it is found that the disease is not progressing any further, but has improved slightly.
