Paul Calle
Paul Calle (born March 3, 1928 in Manhattan , † December 30, 2010 in Stamford (Connecticut) ) was an American artist .
He received a bachelor's degree from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and worked as an illustrator for the US Army during the Korean War.
He gained greater fame as a stamp artist, in particular through the stamp he designed on the occasion of the first moon landing for the US Post . In total, he designed more than 40 US postage stamps.
