Nurafshon ( Cyrillic Нурафшон ; Russian Нурафшон Nurafshon ; until 2017 Toʻytepa) is a city in the Uzbek province of Tashkent , located about 30 km south of the capital Tashkent at 395  m above sea level. Nurafshon is the capital of the district Oʻrtachirchiq (formerly Russian Среднечирчик Srednetschirtschik ). According to the 1989 population census, To'ytepa had 17,500 inhabitants at that time, according to a calculation for 2009 the population is 20,682.

Nurafshon was made a city in 1973 and is located on a road between Tashkent and Kokand . The clothing industry located in the city is important.

There is an airfield at Nurafshon, but it is no longer in operation.
