Nymphenburg cemetery
The small Nymphenburg cemetery is located on Maria-Ward-Straße in Munich - Nymphenburg . It is not a public cemetery in the sense that burials are possible there, as in the city cemeteries. A burial presupposes that a grave already exists there.
It is a very idyllic little cemetery that invites you to visit; it is close to the Botanical Garden , Menzinger Strasse and Nymphenburg Palace Park . Occasionally, guided tours take place in small groups and under expert guidance.
In the cemetery are u. a. Bernhard Wicki and the deceased nuns of the Order of the English Misses , Munich-Nymphenburg (Maria-Ward-Orden), buried. The monastery and the schools of the order are opposite.
