Oğuz Üçüncü
Oğuz Üçüncü (German also written Oguz Ücüncü ; * 1969 in Hamm / Westphalia) is a German-Turkish Islam functional. From 2002 to 2014 he was Secretary General of the Islamic Community Millî Görüş (IGMG).
Life
After graduating from high school in Hamm and the technical college in Dortmund , Üçüncü became a mechanical engineer in 1988 . He has been self-employed since 1996. Üçüncü worked at Millî Görüş since the mid-1980s, initially in the youth department. From 1993 to 2002 he was a board member of the youth department. The graduate engineer has three children. His successor as general secretary of the IGMG was Mustafa Yeneroğlu .
Prosecutor's investigation
Between March 2009 and September 2010, the Munich public prosecutor's office investigated Üçüncü and six other accused - including the main accused against the former President of the Islamic Community in Germany, Ibrahim El-Zayat - on suspicion of the formation of a criminal organization , which was caused by forgery of documents, bankruptcy, Infidelity, money laundering and violation of the Banking Act is said to have obtained funds in order to pursue Islamist goals . All accusations made by the public prosecutor were dropped. The investigation was discontinued without result. Ücüncü made a detailed statement on the termination of the proceedings and stated that he saw political motives behind the investigation that sought to discredit the IGMG.
