O'Shea's Limited was an assembly plant for motor vehicles and thus part of the automotive industry in Ireland .
Company history
The Cork company is first mentioned in 1934. The assembly of automobiles began in March 1934. The parts came from Dodge . After 1939 the track of the company is lost.
There is an indication that the company was called PJ O'Hea Limited and the plant was called Glasheen Road Works. Such a company existed from 1924 to the 2010s. However, it was associated with Opel , a brand of General Motors , a direct competitor of Dodge's parent company Chrysler .
Another Irish assembly plant for Dodge was John O'Neill Limited in Dublin .
Despite the same or similar company name, there are no known connections to O'Shea's Limited (Daihatsu) from Dublin, O'Shea's Limited (Opel) from Cork and O'Shea Group from Dublin.
vehicles
The only known model was the Dodge Senior De Luxe as a four-door sedan .
