O'Shea Group was an assembly plant for motor vehicles and thus part of the automotive industry in Ireland .

Company history

The company was based on Naas Road in Dublin . It was the importer for tractors from Zetor . The Times reported assembly plans on February 25, 1976. In June 1976 the assembly of automobiles began. The parts came from Polski Fiat . Production ended in 1981. It is not known whether the company was already active before or later.

There are no known connections to O'Shea's Limited (Daihatsu) from Long Mile Road from Dublin, O'Shea's Limited (Dodge) from Cork and O'Shea's Limited (Opel) from Cork.

The only model was the Polski Fiat 125p . The limousine has been safely handed down. It is believed that some station wagons were also installed.

One vehicle was reported by the manufacturer with the drivers Melanie F. Smith and Jakki Moore at a rally .

Production numbers

Sales plans totaled 1,000 vehicles annually. These numbers were not reached.
