OGLE-2005-BLG-071L b is an exoplanet that orbits the red dwarf OGLE-2005-BLG-071L every 2900 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .
discovery
Unlike the majority of all exoplanets, this one was discovered using the microlensing method. The planet was created by Andrzej Udalski et al. discovered in 2005.
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 1.8 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 286.1 earth masses or 0.9 Jupiter masses.
