OGLE-2005-BLG-169L b is an exoplanet that orbits the red dwarf OGLE-2005-BLG-169L every 3300 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .
discovery
Unlike the majority of all exoplanets, this one was discovered using the microlensing method. The planet was discovered by the OGLE project in 2005 .
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 2.8 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 12.72 Earth masses or 0.04 Jupiter masses.
