OGLE-2005-BLG-169L is a red dwarf in the constellation Sagittarius, 8,800 light years from Earth . With an apparent brightness of 20.4 mag, it can no longer be seen with the naked eye, even under optimal observation conditions. In 2006 the OGLE project discovered an extrasolar planet orbiting this star. This is called OGLE-2005-BLG-169L b .
