C. Parkin (also OM C. Parkin , bourgeois Cedric Parkin ) (* 1962 in Hamburg) is Advaita teacher, mystic , philosopher and author.

Life

Cedrik Parkin studied psychology but dropped out after 3 years. He then dealt intensively with the spiritual tradition of Sufism and the Enneagram as a mirror of the human psyche.

In 1990, at the age of 27, he suffered a serious car accident and was in a coma for two days. He tells of a death experience that changed him and his life. Shortly after the accident, he met his spiritual teacher Gangaji , who helped him to come to terms with his death experience, which was beyond everyday experience. She sent him to her teacher HWL Poonja , who gave him the spiritual name OM and was a direct student of Ramana Maharshi . Parkin has since written books and leads spiritual events ( called darshan ) in which he accompanies people in their search for truth and self-knowledge. He is the initiator of the Gut Saunstorf Foundation near Wismar as a mystery school, seminar house and modern monastery.

C. Parkin's spiritual teaching, also referred to by him as Inner Science, is based on the one hand on the Eastern Advaita tradition (teaching of non-duality , best known representative: Ramana Maharshi ), but on the other hand it also makes use of Western paths of experience (e.g. Christian Mystik, Georges I. Gurdjieff The Fourth Way) and psychological-scientific methods. Your goal is self-knowledge through inner work and beyond that, knowledge of the true nature of man.
