Oxi (own spelling OXI , subtitle: Thinking economy differently ) is a social and economic-political monthly newspaper from Berlin . history

After the blog had already gone online, the first edition of the newspaper appeared in May 2016. First of all, funding for the newspaper was secured for one year. The newspaper is still part of the Neues Deutschland daily .

The circulation in October 2016 was 30,000 copies, plus 8,000 copies sold at kiosks and 600 subscriptions.

Alignment

The objective in terms of content is to “clarify [about] economic relationships [and] present [alternatives]”. Each issue is focused on a specific topic. In addition to the editor-in-chief Wolfgang Storz, the authors are co-editors Tom Strohschneider and Kathrin Gerlof .

Trivia

The name Oxi (pronounced “ochi”) is Greek and means “no”. The term refers to the slogan of the same name of voting “no”, which was used during the 2015 Greek referendum .
