The house Obere Gasse 15 is a half-timbered house in Oberderdingen , a municipality in the district of Karlsruhe ( Baden-Württemberg ), which was built in the middle of the 16th century. The building is a protected monument .

description

The former courtyard, with the residential building as a corner house on Hinteren Gasse, is currently (2011) empty and has washed-out blue-painted compartments , which is why it is also called the "Blue House". The corner structure stands with its eaves sides on both streets. The passage to the courtyard is on Hinteren Gasse and the entrance to the house is on Oberen Gasse, where the barn is attached.

The half-timbered structure of the two half-timbered floors is designed simply, only with the Franconian man and a St. Andrew's cross over a diamond as an ornamental shape . The sweeping console with bulges, grooves and strips on the lower corner post is remarkable , which would frame the wall that overlaps and serve for the stitching and ridging beams above.
