Obergorbitz cemetery
The upper Gorbitzer cemetery in Dresden is located above the Hirtenstraße on the edge of Gorbitzer settlement on the Rädestraße 31. He is 0.98 hectares in size and was ordained on February 5 1905th Until then, the deceased from Gorbitz, Gompitz and Pennrich had been buried in the Briesnitz cemeteries. On November 5, 1905, the cemetery chapel was also completed. In 1987 a small bell tower was built opposite this chapel. The Obergorbitz cemetery is clearly structured by two main paths and is also a place of peace and contemplation with trees and hedges. Respected residents bought large family graves in the early days of the cemetery. 13 tombs separate the old and new parts of the cemetery.
