Oberhaim (noble family)

The Oberhaim (Oberhaimer, Oberheim or Oberhaym, Oberhaimb etc.) were an Upper Austrian - Bavarian noble family who had their headquarters in Oberham near Hohenzell and then came to Upper Austria.

history

Christoph Oberhaimer took part in the 14th tournament in Würzburg in 1235 , his son Georg was mentioned as a nobleman at the 1284 tournament in Regensburg. Ortolph lived in 1308, his son was Ulrich, the grandsons were Michael and Hans. Michael Oberhaimer zu Gröming († 1435) was the nursing and district judge of Weissenberg in 1414, and in 1416 he became the ducal nurse of Waxenberg . Hans von Oberhaim zu Parz was administrator of the main team of the country ob der Enns, his sons Wolfgang, Matthias and Colman formed three lines. Hans, Ottmar and Colman were knighted on April 5, 1486 at the coronation of Maximilian I as Roman-German King in Aachen. Simon Oberhaim zum Falkenstein was next to Ulrich von Starhemberg district captain in the Mühlviertel in 1478 . The brothers Othmar and Bartholomäus Oberhaimer at Marsbach Castle also acted as robber barons . Othmar was captured by Duke Ernst and sentenced to death by the court in 1520. With Georg Andreas von Oberhaim, Herr zu Schönau, the family died out in the 17th century.

The helmet covers are yellow and black on the right and black and white on the left.
