Upper Silesia is a Polish industrial metal band. It was founded in 2008 in Piekary Śląskie , Silesian Voivodeship , as "Michał Stawiński and Marcel Różanka iniziative". Musically, the group is based on the German band Rammstein . Most of her lyrics deal with the history, traditions and peculiarities of her home region and are sung throughout in the Silesian dialect of Polish .
In 2012, the band took second place on the talent show Must Be the Music. Tylko muzyka ("Must be Music. Only Music") from the Polish TV channel Polsat .
