Hiking trails connect the Oberstalleralm with the aforementioned peaks, as well as with the Arntaler Lenke, via which a transition to the Einattal and the Winkeltal is possible.

Architectural monuments

The alpine settlement consists of 16 alpine buildings and the guardian angel chapel, whereby the majority of the alpine huts date from the 19th century or were partially renovated in the 20th century. Three alpine huts were rebuilt in the second half of the 20th century in the old style. The alpine huts are consistently two-storey log buildings made of wood with the ridge facing the valley, with a shingle-roofed gable roof and sill . The houses were originally used as living space or to accommodate the alpine cattle, separated from one another by storeys, but today they are mainly used as spartan holiday homes.

The Guardian Angel Chapel was built between 1954 and 1956 in the middle of the alpine settlement as a one-yoke sacred building. The construction of the wall has a drawn-in round apse and is protected by a shingle roof with a turret, whereby the masonry turret protrudes slightly and its gable roof is crowned by a ball and cross. The gable facade is broken up by a round arch portal and three rectangular windows, and there are round arched windows in the longitudinal walls. The interior was designed according to plans by the Franciscan Father Raimund Gastl from Lienz, with the simple altar and the oval image of the guardian angel dating from the construction period.
