Oberwoehr (Rosenheim)
Oberwöhr is a district of the independent city of Rosenheim in Upper Bavaria .
The district is located in the southwest of the city, embedded by the Mangfall and the Auerbach . This district is largely a residential area . Oberwöhr gained national fame during the flood of the century in June 2013 , when the entire district was flooded up to a height of 0.5 meters.
Cultural life
Oberwöhr is home to the sports club MTV Rosenheim , which is of national importance primarily with its fistball department .
Oberwöhr is home to the scout tribe of St. Joseph the Workers. Every year at the summer solstice at the end of June there is a solstice celebration for the scouts at the parish church of Oberwöhr.
