Happing is a district and a district of the independent city of Rosenheim in Upper Bavaria in the southeastern part of the urban area.
The former municipality offers with the Happinger See , the Happingerausee and the Floriansee popular local recreation places for the citizens of Rosenheim. The place Happing today has about 450 inhabitants.
On July 1, 1967, Happing was incorporated into the city of Rosenheim. In addition to the church village of Happing, this also included the village of Au b. Happing, the wasteland Au b. Rosenheim, the hamlet (and the later settlement) Heilig Blut, the village (and later district) Kaltmühl, the Kaltwies settlement and the hamlet Thansau. At the key date of the census on May 25, 1987, these districts had a total of 4949 inhabitants, 3503 of them in Kaltmühl / Kaltwies, 879 in the Heilig Blut settlement and 385 in the village of Happing. However, the Heilig Blut settlement has also grown into the neighboring district of Aising to the west , so that, strictly speaking, its population is not limited to the district of Happing.
The Catholic branch church St. Martin is a monument that represents the early baroque hall building (Hans Mayr, 1676/79). The core is late Gothic. A renewal took place around 1779/80.
