Oberwampach ( Luxembourgish Uewerwampech ) is a village in the municipality of Wintger , canton of Clervaux in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Oberwampach is located in the southwest of the municipality near the Belgian border. Neighboring towns are Allerborn in the north, Derenbach in the east, Niederwampach and Schimpach in the south and Lingsweiler (Longvilly) in the west on the Belgian side. The Wamperbach flows through the village.
General and history
Oberwampach was a municipality until January 1, 1977, to which the localities Allerborn, Brachtenbach , Derenbach, Niederwampach and Schimpach also belonged. The community was then dissolved and the new community of Wintger was formed from the former communities of Oberwampach, Asselborn , Helzingen and Bögen .
The catholic church St. Remaclus is worth seeing .
