Obolon (Ukrainian and Russian Оболонь ) is a village in the Ukrainian Poltava Oblast with about 2000 inhabitants.
Obolon is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in Semenivka district , to which the villages Natalenky ( Наталенки ), Sikranzi ( Зікранці ) and Tukaly ( Тукали ) belong.
The village is located 23 kilometers west of the Semenivka district center and about 63 kilometers west of the Poltava oblast center on the Krywa Ruda River (Крива Руда). It is best known for the Obolon Crater .
