  • 1 Kantar / cwt = 44 Occa = 176 Littre ≈ 1 119 / 750 Quintal (Paris Zentner) ≈ 56.72 kg

Measure of capacity

With the measure of capacity a distinction was made between the measure of grain and measure of liquid. When the grain measure was

  • 1 Occa ≈ 77.5 Parisian cubic inches ≈ 1.537 liters
  • 1 Dimerli = 16 Occa ≈ 1240 Parisian cubic inches ≈ 24.6 liters
  • 1 Mirza = 8 Dimerli = 128 Occa ≈ 9921 Parisian cubic inches ≈ 196.8 liters
  • 1 Kile = 2 Mira = 16 Dimerli = 256 Occa ≈ 19,842 Parisian cubic inches ≈ 393.6 liters

One calculated as a measure of liquid

  • 1 Occa ≈ 1.42 liters
  • 1 Viadra / Wiader or bucket (Wallachian bucket) = 10 Occa ≈ 716⅓ Parisian cubic inches ≈ 14.2 liters
  • 1 dimerli = 16 occa ≈ 22.72 liters

Remarks

  • There is a difference to the Turkish trade weight Okka .
  • The Occa in Dalmatia is different from that in Wallachia.
