Oceanco is a shipyard in the Netherlands that specializes in the construction of mega yachts . The company is based in Alblasserdam .
The company was founded in 1987 and has been building motor yachts since 1990. Since 2005 Oceanco has focused on the construction of custom-built mega yachts over 80 meters in length . For the sale and advice is Monaco a subsidiary operated.
The shipyard in Alblasserdamm is located on the Noord and has the following capacities:
- An air-conditioned shipyard hall (145 m long and 45 m wide) for the construction and overhaul of yachts up to 130 m in length. It was taken over by Van der Giessen-De Noord .
- A covered dry dock (156 m long, 52 m wide and 32 m high) for yachts up to 140 m in length.
- A shipyard with a quay length of 130 m, a ship lift and three harbor cranes .
- Buildings for the design office, various workshops and administration.
