Ochsenmühle , formerly just a mill , is a former mill and is now a residential area in the Lauda-Königshofen district of Königshofen in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

geography

Ochsenmühle is located on the north-western outskirts of Königshofen. Not far from the former mill, a mill canal branches off to the right from the Tauber and, after the residential area, flows back into the Tauber from the right. The Tauber and Mühlkanal form a Tauber island.

history

On the measuring table sheet no. 6424 "Königshofen" from 1881 a mill was recorded on site.

The living space came as part of the formerly independent city of Königshofen to the city of Lauda-Königshofen on January 1, 1975, when the city of Lauda merged with the city of Königshofen and the community of Unterbalbach as part of the regional reform in Baden-Württemberg .
