Octacílio Pinheiro Guerra , (born November 21, 1909 in Porto Alegre , RS , † February 26, 1967 ibid), was a Brazilian football player .
career
Octacílio played mainly for the Botafogo FR from Rio de Janeiro in his career . The player is also said to have worked at Madureira EC from 1939 to 1941. Proof of this could not be provided, except that he is mentioned on the Portuguese side of the club. He is said to have been part of the team at the stadium inauguration in 1941.
He was a member of the Brazilian national team at the 1934 World Cup . However, he was only a reserve player here and only made eleven appearances on the subsequent trip with numerous friendly matches. Here he scored a goal. But none of the games was an official international match.
