The Odenwaldring is a permanent outdoor go- kart track in Schaafheim . The operator of the facility is the Motor Sport Club Wartturm .
route
The route length is 1022 meters, the roadway is a maximum of 10 meters wide. The go-kart track extends over an area of 40,000 m². A motocross course is adjacent to the kart track, which can be connected to the kart track.
A clear gradient in the connecting route between the paddock and the route is helpful for a push start .
The route, which consists of seven left and three right turns, is driven counterclockwise and is considered to be very demanding from a driving point of view.
Racing
Karts with a displacement of 270 cm³ and an output of 9 hp are available for visitors to the kart track .
Various other motorsport events also take place on the Odenwaldring, including classic car races, mini and pocket bike races, as well as supermoto and quad races.
Because of noise protection, strict requirements have to be met, which severely restricts the operation of racing machines.
