Oderin is a district of the municipality of Halbe in the Dahme-Spreewald district of Brandenburg . The place has about 260 inhabitants.
History and etymology
The place was first mentioned in documents in 1359 as Norderin . The meaning of the name is unclear. In 1666 a church was built. However, this was completely destroyed and rebuilt between 1890 and 1894. The town's manor is surrounded by a park, which has become overgrown in the 21st century.

The head of the Oderin district is Marianne Ruhnke (2014).
Sights and culture
- The Oderin village church was probably built in 1894 on the remains of a previous building from the 17th century. The strictly structured, neo-Gothic brick building has an elaborately crafted west tower with a polygonal apse .
- The place has its own volunteer fire brigade and with the SG Wacker Oderin e. V. a sports club.
- The lake of the same name is nestled in a forest not far from the village of Oderin.
- Brick oak with a chest height of 7.20 m (2016).
